3 Year Guarantee
Our handles are strong and built to endure everything a family home can throw at them. We've thoroughly tested these handles ourselves and we can comfortably offer a 3 year guarantee.

Custom hole spacing?
The distance between the stems (and therefore, the mounting holes) on our handles is by default:
230s - 160mm hole spacing
160s - 97mm hole spacing
You may wish to have a different measurement for your cabinets, especially if you're replacing existing handles.
We can customise this to suit your needs, no extra charge! Just select 'Hole spacing: Custom' (if you've already placed your order, just send us a message through the Contact page) on the product page and we will chat to you about your requirements via email.
What is the return policy?
We're happy to return and refund your order up to 30 days from delivery for free.
These are natural products and you should expect some variations between the different handles in your order.
Some change in colour is to be expected over the lifetime of the product, including the metal stems.

Whats the lead time?
Lead time is the time it takes to craft your handles for you. At the moment it is approximately 3 weeks.
Where do you make the handles?
At our workshop on the Norfolk/Suffolk border here in the UK. A beautiful area of the country also known as East Anglia. The wood is sourced from the same area and never imported from abroad. Sourced local, made local.
Is the wood cut responsibly?
Yes! We work very closely with local woodlands to responsibly and consciously gather our materials. Proper coppicing and woodland cultivation improves the ecosystem and helps make sure our precious woodlands can be enjoyed by generations to come.

A little about us
Hi 👋
We are Sunrod Handles, we make handles (and knobs!) from Hazel sunrods. So called because they shoot straight up, catching those sweet sweet rays 🌞
We hand make everything you see on this website in our solar powered, off-grid workshop. Located at a maker space on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk, in the UK.
We do it all ourselves; coppice and season the wood, build the workshop tooling and jigs needed to accurately cut and form the handles. We even put the knurling on the brass stems.
When you buy something from us, you know it's been made with care and with great attention to detail. The story begins in our workshop but it's your home that makes each handle special.
